Listeners will be able to enjoy soul and jazz arrangements together with Lithuanian jazz and pop pianist, composer and soul/R&B performer Giedrius Nakas and well-known Lithuanian bass guitarist and songwriter Kipras Pugačiukas. MIGLOKO (Miglė Vilčiauskaitė) is a creator who subtly blends the sounds of soul, jazz, blues and R&B in her music. Having grown up in the creative surroundings of Užupis in Vilnius, she drew the attention of audiences and critics from an early age, and her ever-changing creative personas have surprised listeners of different music genres. She could be heard in the Astor Piazzolla tango project with Martynas Levickis and in jazz concerts with “The Schwings Band”, and her debut album “Atgimimas” earned two M.A.M.A. award nominations. Today MIGLOKO is one of the most striking voices of contemporary Lithuanian soul, in which the classic soul tradition, presented in a contemporary way, meets a feel for jazz and authentic songwriting.
