007 - Songs from the James Bond Films | María and Vytautas Straižys
María (Marija Arutiunova) · vocals · Vytautas Straižys · piano
On 5 November, María (Marija Arutiunova) and Vytautas Straižys perform songs from the James Bond films, including “Skyfall” and “Goldfinger”. Familiar melodies take on new arrangements, harmonies and improvisations. The voice of the Kaunas State Musical Theatre soloist meets the piano in a programme that brings film music into conversation with jazz. The Dainykla project is partially funded by Vilnius City Municipality.
